Accessing Traffic Reports

To get started with traffic reports in Hike SEO, follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the Reporting section.
  2. Click on Traffic.

Linking Google Analytics and Search Console

If you don’t see any statistics in the traffic reports, you’ll need to link your Google Analytics and Google Search Console accounts to Hike SEO. To do this, simply follow the prompts provided.

Once connected, your analytics will begin populating the fields in the traffic reports.

Navigating the Traffic Reports Interface

The traffic reports display various metrics and dimensions, such as visitor engagement, clicks, and impressions. You can customise the timeframe and even compare dates to better analyse your website’s performance.

Viewing Website Visitors

A graph in the traffic reports section will show you website visitors by day or the timeframe you have selected. You can zoom in and out to focus on specific periods or view broader trends.

Analysing Search Console Clicks and Impressions

Another graph will display Search Console clicks and impressions based on the selected timeframe. Like the visitors graph, you can zoom in and out to gain different perspectives on your data.

Identifying Top Traffic Sources, Countries, Cities, and Devices

The traffic reports also provide insights on:

  • Top traffic sources (e.g., organic, referral, direct, or paid)
  • Top countries generating traffic
  • Top cities generating traffic
  • Top devices used by visitors (e.g., mobile, desktop, tablet, or smart TV)

Viewing Top Referrers

In addition to the above insights, you can also see the top referrers for your website traffic.

Hike SEO’s traffic reports offer a convenient, user-friendly way to view and analyse your website’s performance metrics in one place, without having to navigate between Google Analytics and Search Console.
