An interview with Ro Pimlott

We speak to Ro Pimlott, marketing manager at Zephi, about how they use Hike and it’s white-label feature at their agency.

Who do you offer SEO to?

“We have a number of clients on our Hike platform and we are anticipating this increasing by at least 25% over the next couple of months. We have a mix of new and existing clients on Hike as it appeals to both. It has been a great way to expand the services we offer to our clients to help them achieve their marketing goals as it fits perfectly as a follow-on step having redesigned their website to ensure they rank well on Google.”

How do you sell SEO?

“New clients have come to us with a website that they feel isn’t performing well and they wonder if they need a new website, but that’s often not the answer. Their website is fine but their SEO is poor and with some simple tweaks that the Hike platform highlights they can really climb up the rankings for their keywords. They have been delighted that for a small monthly cost they see real results rather than spending hundreds or perhaps thousands on another new website that still won’t perform.”

What impact has Hike had on your revenue?

“Our revenue has increased since we offered the Hike platform and we love the cost structure where our monthly license fee reduces the more clients/websites we put onto the platform. As we have clients signing up throughout the month, it’s a stable revenue income for us and very affordable. We have found that a lot of clients know that they need to do SEO on their website but don’t have the time or expertise to implement it so they put feelers out to agencies. It has been a great way to meet new clients and once they start seeing the results, discussions have started about what other services we can offer. Our clients love that the results are visible and easy to understand.”
